I went over to our general store to see what was new to me . I was looking at a gluck for a son in law and spotted a M&P 2.0 5" PC 40 with a ported barrel and slide . I have always been a 40sw fan so after looking it over talking to the owner it came home with me .

I do not do photos so look up the SKU: 11825 if ya just gota know ! ha

Nice pistol for reduced price too . Triggers still sort of heavy at coser to 6lb than 5.5lbs but smooth with a nice break and reset , over travel well adjusted so after a few hundred rounds fire and a few hundred dry fires maybe it will drop a little or I do a few changes . Probably will not carry it but the ported barrel does a nice job of reducing muzzle rise . Like the fiber optic sights too .

Should have waited to post but went directly out to our handgun range and found 15 rouds of 165gr gd underwood were all but one in a 1.5" x 2.5"tall group useing a 2.5" black aim point a 12 yards . IT will fire a 9mm reload round but not eject it !! Stupid me but it was in a containter of ammo . My 155gr home loads were more like 3" group but more random in there pattern so I fired 30 more older 165gr fmj extreme loads at 1150fps and they shoot as well as the underwood . I like it , easy on my hands and staying on target .

The same thing always seem to happen to me. When I am on my way to buy a Glock, I end up with a M&P. :)

I not a glock guy . My son in law is wanting one so just checking them out . He will have his gluck tonight and I have a real nice shooter I did not plane on buying .

Did you say you fired a 9mm round through your 40 cal pistol? That makes for an interesting-looking fired case.

Rob

Yea it sort of a odd case now and and odd sound too when it fired - bang bang putt. Oh well , pay more attention next time . . My son in law did the same thing with a older ruger p97 45 loading my 40sw ammo into the his 45 mags .
