I looked back a couple of screens and didn't see it mentioned. The other day I noticed that lots of stores are now showing M&P 10mm 15 round magazines available to purchase. One of my orders for them has shipped already.

If this is a dupe, I apologize.

Got mine yesterday. Had in stock notices at several sites. Ordered as soon as I got the notice. They are out of stock now where I ordered from, but they did stay in stock longer then I expected.

Only had to wait 5 months from when I bought the gun to get magazines.

I'm in Washington and we have a "ban" on new magazine sales over 10 rounds starting July 1, so these finally became available just in time.

I placed orders with two places to try to cover myself in case one shipped slowly. But I have shipping notices from both already, so have 7 on the way. Once they arrive, I may offer a couple to other Washingtonians who missed them.

This is interesting

I went back to the email from Vizards and it shows a price of $34.32 which is what I paid, but then when you click on the link, it’s $25 more! Still showing 6 in stock as of 0900 EDT.

I saw that, too. Some companies do that when inventory is low...they jack up the price. I got 3 from Vizards for $34.32 and 4 from Gun Zone Deals for $32.99.

Hopefully there will be a fresh batch available soon.

Any leads on 10mm mags

everywhere I have looked they are out of stock, I would appreciate any leads. Also has anyone ever tried the 15 round 40/357sig M&P mags in a 10mm--would it work?

I ordered 2 10rd 45 mags, and and a 40cal follower for each one and they function and lock back.

I did pinch the feedlips in on their very edge about to .380 to get the rds to line up in the same angle to the feed ramp as the OEM mags.

I used a magazine feedlip tool to do this. I went just a little at a time and kept checking with the calipers. The space in between the feedlips on the 45 mags was .412. The space on the OEM 10mm mags is .379.

Without this mod they sit at too high of an angle and the case mouth would catch on the upper inside edge of the barrel hood.

Going to get out with them again this week to see how they are holding up. Not sure I would trust them for carry until I had a couple thousand rds on them, but for now it gives me two extra mags for the range, and here in NY I can only have 10rds anyway.

Waiting for the 10mm 10 rounders to eventually come out will probably take a few months or longer.

I also believe I read somewhere that the 40 cal mags will not work due to them being a tad smaller in specs. The 45 mags are the exact same measurements except for the distance between the feedlips. .412 vs .379

I don't have a .40 cal M&P, but I think the magazine bodies would be too small. The 10mm is on the same grip frame as the .45. The .45 mags DO fit in the 10mm gun. As has been said, .45 mags have been reported to work OK "as is" (for range work) and better with some tweaking. I have not tried this yet, but did buy a bunch of .45 mags cheap. And a police trade in .45 M&P pistol as well.

I added an alert at gun zone deals the other day when you mentioned it and was alerted this morning they were back in stock. I jumped on it and got two more…didn’t want to be too greedy:). I’ll have eight total now, that should be enough for awhile.

Just got this notice from GZD early this morning:mad:

“Our apologies! The shipping warehouse has just informed us that the item you ordered is now out of stock. At this time we unfortunately do not have an exact eta on when more will be in. Your order has been canceled and your card will be refunded in full. We are very sorry for not delivering and for wasting your time.”

Took them a full week to figure out they didn’t have them in stock. I wonder if I’ll have to wait another week to get a refund?

Sent GZD a strongly worded letter saying that I didn’t appreciate them waiting a week to inform me the mags weren’t in stock when the website clearly showed them in stock and going off an email they sent me. Funny how they charge your card almost the instant you click on “submit order” and to get the money back it takes a week or so. Anyway I’m just ranting…bear with me.

I ended up ordering 4 more from Vizards when they came up as in stock. They treated me pretty well and shipping was fast the first time around. Price was a couple dollars more than the first four I ordered, but not the $59 they had advertised for a few days, plus you can use a code and save $4 on shipping.
