M&P Thumb Rest

I use my M&P 40 L in local matches around the area. Does anyone make a thumb rest that can be installed in the area of the Take Down Lever? The reason I'm asking is I shout one of my friend's pistols so equipped and I was amazed how quickly I was able to recover for the second shot of double taps.

Has anyone figured out why the M&P 10mm 2.0 has so many problems? Mine still pukes loaded rounds out the ejection port straight out of the magazine.
