The ad for the new "Equalizer" pistol shows what appear to be Shield Plus magazines in 10, 13 and 15 round capacity.

If S&W does start selling 15 round magazines are you going to buy any?

If I was using a Shield Plus both as a home defense and carry gun I would. But it makes the grip longer than I want on a CC gun.

I don't carry spare magazines but those of you that do might want the extra 2 rounds. But would you buy new magazines at today's prices for those 2 extra rounds when you already own some 13 round magazines for spares?

I voted no.

There is a trade off for length of the grip vs. on board ammunition capacity. It is the length of the grip that is hardest to conceal. I brought a Glock 43X because Shield Arms magazines give me 15 round on board capacity without increasing the length of the grip. If it added length I would have passed on it.

Would I buy them? Eventually I probably would. However, I would end up waiting for a sale somewhere because 13+1 feels like more than enough for me to carry.

Mag Guts sells spring kits with larger base plates, and the larger base plate is not aesthetically pleasing. I still use it, but I don't plan to buy any more.

That should translate to an 18rd 30sc Shield+ magazine, so I'll add a couple of those to my 30sc Shield+. Yes, I'll also buy a few 15rd magazines for my 9mm Shield+.

I already have the Glock.....lol

I have had the Shield Plus Micro for several months as a pocket backup.

Called S&W today and 3 was told that the Equalizer 15 round mags will work in the Plus.

I plan to get a couple asd I hate to reload mags at the range and there may be times when I will carry them......if they prove reliable.

Now, where to find the 15 round mags?

aaaarrrgggghhhh my proof reading is atrocious.

I have large hands and would buy one magazine if it fits my Shield Plus. I am on the waiting list for the Plus 2 M-Guts.

Saw the Equalizer today at my local Range, and yes the 15 rd mag fits my Shield Plus 2.0. The Equalizer came with 3 mags, 10, 13 and 15 round, plus a speed loader. S&W finally are giving us extra mags with our purchase.

13+1 is plenty for me, + a 13 reload. I used to load up all my mags to capacity for range time, but now I find 10 rounds in each magazine work well for most of my target practice. I do this with all of my M&Ps.

They already now make a 15-round magazine for the Shield Plus
Look into the NEW Equalizer 9mm EZ, It uses the same 10 & 13 round magazines + also has a 15 rounder
Exactly what you asked for...

I just got the bugout out shield with 3 extra 13 rnd magz. Can’t get the last 1 in either of the extra mags. Can get 13 in the one shipped with box. Wonder if the 15 rounders would only get 13-14. Haha

A moot point for those of us in Oregon. As of the passage of Measure 114 we can no longer carry anything over 10 rds. And that's not even the bad part...

I e-mailed you about trading a 10 for a 13
Sorry that you have to deal with this ****

Welcome to the club! Honestly surprised Oregon didn't already have that gun control measure in place.

Possibly, shoot those mags a few times and the spring should loosen up. Don't get me wrong, it's still stiff but I can put all 13 rds in them now.
