Default Shield slide compatibility question - .40 slide on 9mm frame
Does anyone know if you can convert a Gen 1 Shield 9mm to a .40 by swapping on a Gen 1 Shield .40 slide? Are the frames for the Gen 1 Shield the same for both the 9mm and .40 versions?

Or will a Shield Plus slide fit on a Gen 1 Shield frame?

A shield 9mm performance center slide fits a shield plus frame and functions fine.

A .40 slide should fit a 9mm frame, but it will need .40 mags to feed function properly.
