hi...does anyone know what exactly are the components that would make a standard trigger on a shield 2.0 45 acp into the 10 lb version ...

It would be the striker spring, the striker block spring, the trigger return spring, and the sear spring.

Why not? Although most people on the 'net are steel nerved cool cucumbers, I'll probably be pretty tense in a self defense situation. When I hear of people with striker fired self defense guns with three pound triggers, I know they're much better warriors than myself. I have guns like that for fun, and if they were all I had at the time I would not be inclined to give up. But my car gun is an old S&W Sigma that has at least a ten pound pull, but it's short and smooth. If I shoot someone with it, I meant to. Law enforcement somehow managed heavier double action pulls on S&W revolvers for many, many years.

Perhaps you should contact S&W CS about the parts for a Massachusetts 10.5 striker fired trigger pull but that is on the larger models unless it has a thumb safety too .

Or buy your self a double action only handgun like a revolver as they are heavy .

Just get a 642 Airweight , it is hard enough to get it to fire intentionally let alone by accident.
