I'm looking for anyone that has the Leupold Delta Point Pro installed on their S&W 2.0 full size 9mm with night sights and optics cut slide (see pic). What is the base plate that is needed for it and does it Cowitness with the sights?

I can tell you the choice for a dot optic has a very tall base and seeing m&p tall sights is not going to happen . You have the option of a rear sight from luppy that attaches to there optic . Maybe you can get a tall enough front sight from Dawson - link below .

You will also learn with practice night sights have a very limited time frame that there useful like once its dark enough to need a handgun held or gun light to decide if you have good guys or bad guys down range and once that light once you turn it one the sight type you have does not matter that much . MY standard m&p white dots are black out rears and brite yellow testers painted front sight . My commander runs a gold dot .

If I remember correctly, you’ll need the #6 or 6A plate and the factory tall iron sights will not be visible. The 6A plate is even thicker so you’d need taller irons.

I had a DeltaPoint Pro (DPP) on a 2.0 with a direct mill that was able to set it lower - still required some really tall irons.

The DPP works and I have a few (only one mounted on a handgun right now) but I believe there are better options out there.

I believe you will find the deck height on the DPP to be too high to allow the irons to be visible through the optic. I have Holosun optics on my M&P 2.0’s and you can barely see them through the very bottom of the window. The DPP deck height is visibly taller than the Holosun.

Have you made any progress on this yet ? I just installed one on my 2.0 competitor and have looked into sights but haven't nailed anything down yet Dawson say's they need a measurement to see if they have correct height.

Are you locked into the DPP? I am really liking the Holosun SCS-MP I have on my M&P Metal.

Trijicon will make you a front sight with a tritium insert at any height you need. That’s what I did for a co witness set up on my 2011 project.

Ok I just received a set of tritium stealth series sights for the M&P spec series with the Delta Point Pro on it. I got them from Night Fision it was super easy to pick out the correct height on their web sight. They are super nice quality I will install them tonight. They are supposed to be 30% brighter and the warranty is much better than the other manufacturers and made in the USA !!!
