Default picked up my Shield 9 PLUS yesterday

Will shoot it tomorrow. A nice upgrade from the 1.0 and fits the same holsters as it has been pointed out here before. I had the 8 round mag with the 1.0 so I have gained 25% more capacity with about a 3/16" wider grip, and I like that. The backstrap texture was a bit strong so I used the wife's emery board to remedy that. I love the trigger so far dry firing it, having done that over 100 times. I oiled and operated the safety many times just as I did with the 1.0 and it has settled in nicely. I like the safety and really do not have much choice here in Cailf, but wanted it anyhow. All my carry autos have a safety because I have many years with a 1911 and it is automatic for me, no pun intended! I do not plan to carry an extra mag since I now have 11 rounds. For me it will be the perfect carry gun, not too small, but just right the way it fits MY hand. UPDATE; shot it this morning and wow! First off, the mag is SO much easier to load than the 1.0, and I shoot it much better. My guess is, that it is the trigger that makes the difference. Very happy, even more than I thought I would be.

I bought a 9mm Shield two months ago and have fallen in love with it. So far I have put around 1000 rounds through it without a hiccup. Very accurate out of the box also.

Congrates on a great choice for an EDC pistol. The only thing I would point out to you is that carrying a spare mag isn't only about having extra ammunition on you, but also, and possibly more importantly, having a spare loaded mag available if/when you need to clear a malfunction. Just something to think about. Good luck with your new pistola, I'm sure you'll like it.

I have had my Plus since they first came out. I enjoy carrying 16 rounds. I love the grip and trigger. Points naturally and so far I have feed mine with every different 9mm round I could get my hands on and so far no FTF.

Shot it again and I shoot it as well as my full size pistols. I cannot wait to get it on my CCW when I renew. I added the Pierce little extensions to the mags and I can get all 3 fingers on the grip, no doubt adding to help accuracy.
