New Metal Pistols. Shield???

Just got an email blast from S&W. They are expanding the lineup of metal M&P pistols. I’m holding out for a metal Shield or Shield Plus. Not sure how long I will have to wait????

I emailed S&W last year, asking about this. They claim there are no plans for such a gun, unfortunately.
