M&P .40 Shield
My gun went in for repair twice . On the second trip
S&W decided to replace the frame , this worked .
The gun works fine now.
While I was at gun shop picking up gun with new s/# I saw used
4013TSW in case. I traded my other plastic pistols (M&P .40C for
It. I am old fashion ,and prefer the trigger pull of the older
guns. The 4013 is a little chunky but it will live in drawer
by my chair .

That's halirous!
Can't we all just get along!
Dave.357 that is a good looking pistol, and I do like the frontstrap checkering, but my .40 Shield gives me pride of ownership as well.

Nice trade! UP
I like the Gen3 Smith Forties too. Some of the S&W 4000 series are built on 45 frames that makes them even sweeter to shoot.

Maybe we all weren't meant to get along.
Hey Jakerin, I trimmed that palm pinching magazine extension and now it acts like a 1911 with a mag. pad underneath.
Purty!

I thought we were gettin along. Mine doesn’t pinch with or without an extended mag. My hand size really appreciates the extended mag.

OK we're all getting along.
I don't think that magazine ever pinched my palm either but the possibility made me nervous so I eliminated it.
Still has the extra length for slamming it home and the grip still feels good.

I did keep the 40. Shield that was repaired by S&W.
I traded a M&P .40c it worked fine but
Trigger was not very good.
This was a double stack mag and made it
Chunky compared to the single stack Shield.

I did have to send mine back because the front sight was way to the left and I couldn’t budge it. Took less than two weeks to get it back. Now, if only the mags didn’t require a loader…..
