Default i just bought my M&P 10

I live in Texas but I picked up a compliment M&P 10. This is the frist time that I have had an AR sence my last trip to Nam. I liked the barrel better then the one with the flash hider. And my gun shop did not have the other model. So now to the help I need. What is the best way to remove the role pin from the stock? I don't want to drill it out. Anybody have Any ideals?

Thanks

Default Back from the range

My first trip to the range with my M&P10. The new Mako stock worked good! I can shoot all day with this stock. I tried 6 steel DPMS mags all worked fine no drag marks on the brass. No miss feeds. The M&P10 is a good shooter. 20 rounds in a 5 inch circle at 70 yards with my Magpul sights. Not bad for a one eyed old soldier.

New parts:
Magpul MBUS Back-Up Sights
Stock Mako GL-ShockCP Recoil-Reduching Stock

Ammo:
PMC 147 Grs. FMJ-BT

Default

i drilled mine from the exposed side and it got a bit messy, but i was replacing the plastic stock anyway. i think if you drill from the other side you could use a punch to push it out cleaner.

Default Pin Drilled Out

I used a small bit and drilled from the pin side the pin was hollow. Than used a bit the same size as the pin to drill the stock than used a punch to drive the pin out.
