Any of you folks try a CMC trigger in the M&P 10? Shot a friends AR 15 with one (curved trigger) and it felt really nice. I understand there is a conflict with the ambi bolt release--is the release removed; trigger installed and ambi re-installed or do you have to leave the ambi off.

I have one in mine with the straight trigger. Just pulled it out of my ar15 and put into my m&p10.

It's a great trigger. However with the m&p10 you have to remove the ambi bolt catch and leave it off. The housing on the cmc trigger interferes with the ambi catch. The left side still works as normal but leaves a small gap on the right side lower where the ambi catch would be.

Looking at it when I installed it you could probably cut some of the metal off the cmc trigger housing and still use the ambi bolt catch without compromising the functionality of the trigger, but I haven't done it so I can't confirm.

I have CMC triggers in both my MP15-22 and also my Colt 9520 and they are big improvements over the stock triggers. Drop and and go to the range. I have one headed my way for my MP-10 already.

I bought one using MIdway's special birthday pricing (last week). Got the trigger on Thurs--installed yesterday. Removed the ambi bolt release and the trigger dropped in beautifully. Went from a 7# pull to 3.5# --rained today so didn't make it to the range to see if there is a difference.
Going to see how well it works before I possibly modify the housing to re-install the ambi bolt release.
