how do i can shoot with a good precision, say to take a disk with a diameter of 20 cm ?
May i engage 600 yards with a good optic? the barrel is long enough?

How did ya get .308 M&Ps in Italy so fast? Having a hard time finding them here!

.308 rifles are the standard for snipers out to 1000yds. And for many years , a fixed 10x scope was the standard.

Of course not all rifles are up to the task. I've shot my heavy barrel DPMS LR-308 out to 500m and with good ammo , and a decent windless day , it's pretty good. 6in 5-shot groups can be done.

Don't know just what accuracy the S&Ws are capable of. Your gonna have to try various ammo to find what it shoots best. The best .308 target ammo is the various factory loads with 168-175gr match BTHPs. Federal Gold Medal , Sellier & Bellot , Prvi Partizan are all top notch. Don't know if your excellent Fiocchi brand has a .308 match round or not.

There are some excellent books on long range shooting.

thanx for the answer...I ordered the rifle 10 days ago in a local shop through Bignami official importer.Lucky me! thanx for the advice about the ammo...well i just have to try with 168 and 175 loads...i hope that my M&p 10 will be accurate to surprise me.
If anybody have tried it yet, could please let me know the results.
