Still need to pick up a free float handguard. Geissele ssa-e was the best thing for this rifle.

Thanks Sgt.... I was so lucky, DH actually had that handguard specially coated and on the shelf. I'm telling Dave to get a few done and advertise em for the Camo M10's.. I wanted the 13.5" but he had the 15".. It sure is nice to know the owner... great guys there.

Turbo38gn what color is that considered. It looks like a goldish. That looks awesome. I just bought the same rifle and wanted to put a free floating handguard on it but was unsure what color to go with.
And this is my first post for the site. My gun will be here today so I just recently became a member to this site to learn as much as possible about my gun. Thanks in advance.

Welcome JIA ........YOU'RE in the right place, and, looks like you purchased the right gun.... not sure of the lcolor, but definitely a green. Check out Diamondhead USA ONLINE for the free floating hg. Many options available, I'll check on the color when I get over there. It was a one off piece.

Ok..thanks..I Definitely want to get the Diamondhead rail..your gun is the best looking one to me that I have seen.
Have you had any issues with the low profile gas block? Such as not cycling right? Or coming loose after several shots?
Thanks again

No problem at all. ... use their stuff on all my ARs.
I stopped by DH today, the handguard was coated by a customer that returned it because they ordered the wrong one..

The angled grip is for holding while I'm crouched. The bipod grip is more economical to have if I don't want to use them. Just simply retract and ready to go. Plus the weight helps offset the recoil and might come in handy if I ever have to hold the weapon while standing.

I'm seriously looking into that stock. Does it add alot of weight? I need something a little longer.

I have the Magpul PRS on a precision AR 15. Yes, it is heavy! But, it is the most comfortable and adjustable stock out there for the AR 15/10. If you need the length, look at the Magpul MOE rifle stock. Same length as the A2 (rifle) and PRS. You will need the rifle buffer tube and S&W's spacer to use your existing buffer and spring.

Finally got it finished and running
Attachment 258169Attachment 258169I've been working on upgrades for this rifle for quite a while and I think I finally got it where I want it. Options include Magpul adjustable stock, Geissele two stage DM trigger, Raptor ambi operating handle, Apex forearm, Black Rain adjustable gas block, Surefire muzzle brake, JP captured buffer spring and Tungsten/Armor Black Cerakote paint by Sand Mountain Armory. The rifle had a bit of an issue with short cycling using certain types of ammo, but the adjustable gas block combined with the JP spring system cleaned that up.

I wish someone would design one with the same features of an Armalite AR10A2(carrying handle upper, flash suppressor, bayonet lug, etc.)?

Post Your Beast in all of its GLORY!!
I created another thread for it, but this one seems to be getting more activity, so I'll ask again here. Are you guys drilling a dimple for the safety detent spring in your pistol grips? I installed an Ergo without doing so and now the safety is a struggle to operate.

I just installed a magpul MOE + and did not make a dimple. It is working just fine so far. I did have to try a few times to adjust the spring just right though.

Mine does not have any stuff on it. I don't own any scopes at all. Woods around here are too thick for any shot longer than 100 yards so I just never saw any need for one. Don't think I have ever shot a critter from further than 75 yards anyway. No forend grip or fancy hand guard. Don't have a flashlight or a laser. But I might get a laser for the cat to play with. Just never saw a reason to take a perfectly good rifle and stick a few pounds of random stuff on it. Guess I am just boring. Maybe someday I will get fancy and put a sticker on it.
