Default A2 stock on M&P10

I know this topic has been covered ad naseum but I had a couple questions... Also, I ordered the spacer from S&W today...

1) what is a good brand A2 style stock for the M&P10?

2) Does it have to be an AR10 specific A2 stock or will one for an AR15 work just as well?

3) in lieu of the S&W buffer and spring, is there another option that will work?

4) does anyone know of a decent A2 stock in fde?

Thanks!

I use the UTG Model 308 A2 stock (RB-T308FB). Very happy with it. I DID have some cycling issues at first as the included spacer wasn’t quite up to snuff but I put the standard M&P 10 folding stock recoil spring back in and it cleared right up. In fact it seems a little more responsive than before.

I think the UTG comes in FDE but if not I'm certain Magpul does.

Would this A2 from UTG work even if it isn't specifically listed as being for a .308?

If it's made for an AR 15 (which I'm guessing this one is) the included spring and buffer likely won't work well but you can always retain the ones from the standard folding stock that came with the rifle. I ended up doing that anyway even though mine was .308 specific.

Ok thanks, that's what I was planning on doing... Using the buffer and spring for my M&P10 with the spacer I have coming my way.

I like the Magpul fixed stock like the one that comes standard on the Cammo MP 10 version.
