Looking to replace my stock mid-length hand guard that came with the M&P 10. Looking for one that is free floating & one that can be used w/o a front sight but can be used with the gas block. Dual purpose use for the M&P 10 which would be hunting & defense. I'm mounting a Leupold 3x9x40 on a Leupold IMS Mark 2 mount & will have a Magpul ACS stock, with the thickest optional butt pad (0.70", Mag 317), Magpul sells for the ACS, which puts my eyes perfect for the scope & has good cheek position (Have one that I tried on it & worked great). Just trying to find a hand guard that is fairly easy to install & has some mounting points for sling mainly & like I said above free floating. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciate & why you like the handguard you have chosen

I'm not entirely sure what all you are asking. Are you asking if there is a free float hand guard that will work with the OEM gas block and sight rail?

15” Troy Alpha M Lok fore grip. The Smith and Wesson Performance Center put them on the M&P 10 in 6.5 Creedmoor. Pretty sweet!
