Default What 2.5 inch recoil buffer to use?

I've looked at every thread going back to about 2012 and haven't seen a definitive answer to this question:

I am trying to put a standard carbine buffer tube on my M&P 10 so I can put an aftermarket stock on it. I understand that to use the shorter tube I need to use the 2.5" DMPS-style buffer and the spring meant to go with that. My question is what weight buffer to use. The buffer that came with the M&P is a hair under 3 ounces, which is lighter than any 2.5" buffer I've been able to find. Is there a lighter 2.5" buffer out there that I haven't seen? Even the Odin Works adjustable one only goes down to 3.45 ounces. Or will the M&P 19 function fine with a 3 1/2 oz. buffer?

So I would buy a 2.5", 5.3 oz buffer and the Sprinco Orange spring, I believe this setup is equivalent to the Armalight AR-10 system.. The MP-10 does have a proprietary Bolt Carrier and barrel extension as I recall. but this buffer and spring will bring you to a happy place for your MP-10.
