Hey You All,

I thought I'd check with this community to ask what type of muzzle brake I've got on my new M&P 15OR. I've ben told it was the A2 at the time of purchase, but had another seemingly informed person tell me it was a Surefire one. I didn't enquire further from this guy, he was a man I'd met at the range. Are both right? One right the other wrong? Both wrong? (God help me on this last as it will certainly set me on a scramble for further info)
All help is always appreciated as I try and understand my new rifle better.

How are we going to be able to help unless you give us a photo! almost without exception new factory AR's are delivered with an A2 style flash suppresor!( unless your in one of the commie states and your not) Perhaps it was a special order or some else changed it out?

If you bought it new it should have the A2 flash suppressor.

Then it's an A2. Thank & God bless!
