Default My new toy

Got my Sport last week and got to go shoot it the next day. Went to some friend's property and shot some targets on a tree from about 25-30 yrds. Didn't do too bad for my first time really shooting a rifle. It is straight out of the box but just ordered a black Magpul hand guard yesterday and hope to get an optic soon. Really loved shooting it and can't wait to go to a proper range to see how I do at distance. BTW, my wife didn't want to shoot it but I made her and she loved it. Now she wants her own with some pink on it. Guess I will have to save up for Xmas.

Here's a pink furniture kit.

PSA M4 Furniture kit - Pink

Or you can go all out with some DuraCoat & go full on Hello Kitty.

Did anyone else notice that the pistol grip on the "Hello Kitty" rifle has the pistol grip installed backwards???

Very nice . . . you guys that don't live in California have it made. If that was here in CA you'd have the EPA and PETA trying to get you arrested for assult on a tree!

Looks like a ton of fun though . . . .

Looks like fun! Glad you got your wife hooked will make it easier to slip a few more in under her nose along with one for her

AR shooting tip from your pic...lean into the rifle a bit more and you want to get as close to the rear sight as possible. Your nose should be kissing/ almost kissing the charging handle!

@oneyeopn thanks for the link, she really liked that one.
@ Splittie thanks for the tip. my buddy does some tactical training but I haven't had a chance for him to teach me. That was the day after I bought it and really haven't ever shot before. So I'm soaking up all the tips I can.

i got the sport 3 weeks ago, really like shooting it - little recoil.
its a fun gun.
started reloading for it and bench groups came down by half.
next week will send off trigger for 3 lb adjustment.
easy gun to tinker with.
