I NEED another AR and am looking at a S&W M&P15TS. I like the rail running almost to the muzzele but the permanently fixed flash suppressor would prevent the use of a suppressor. My uses include killing 9 inch paper plates, home defense and TEOTWAWKI.

For those of you shooting this model, what are your likes & dislikes? Does it handle cheap Russian steel case ammo? My gun club has 1 new gun for sale at $1325- What are others paying for new models?

I've got the 2010 version of the Magpul model, but want a carbine without the tall front sight. The flat top, flip up sights and extended rail are attractive features. I hate looking around the front sight through my Eotech sight.

I have a traditional scope on my M&P sport and I dont have to look around the front sight, do you have to with all the Eotechs? The Ultradot cowitnessed with my front sight, does the eotech do that?
