when i shoot the sport,
my trigger finger and thumb meet with each other and conflict.
is there a simple soultion (temporary/permanent) to increasing the diameter of the grip so trigger finger and thumb are not pushing each other off?

You could get the magpul MAID grip to increase circumference. Or maybe just some grip tape.

I bought a G27 First Samco grip. it was 12.95 on the bay and it is great with a palm swell. It is now made by CAA it is still called the G-27 there are many options and it is only one allen bolt to replace. Hogue, UTG, even Magpul. I dont push magpul as much because every airsoft airgun is loaded with magpul and it makes your AR look like an airgun IMHO.

for temporary, i wrapped grip with "ace" bandage that is stretchy and sticky, works OK.
fairly extensive tool collection(inch,mm), did not find a correct socket wrench to fit over the pistol grip lockwasher nut for disassembly. so i'm at an impasse.
i probably will want a pistol grip with thumb rest and beavertail if it will fit properly.

On my Sport it was an allen headed bolt that held my pistol grip on, I reused it with the used G27 Ergo Grip with the thumb rest and beavertail and it fit very well!!

thanks very much for the heads up.
with my old eyes it looked like a regular hex bolt,
with a powerful light it was an allen.
tomorrow off to get a long t-handle allen wrench.

Phil,
Watch the spring when you take the grip off. I think it was for the safety...I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong;)
Hold pressure on the grip to the weapon and once you get the allen head bolt out, release the pressure and you'll see the spring.
5 minute job tops.
Enjoy.

Yup. The safety detent spring is retained by the grip.

Be careful that you don't lose the spring or the safety detent.

ordered ergo tactical deluxe, from midway this am.
took off pistol grip for practice using 3/16" allen socket wrench screwdriver.
i did watch for the spring and kept safety lever on safe.
no problem - just went slow, double checked after put back together. next time is for real.
also got two 10 round stoner stainless magazines for bench rest and a buffer adsorption pad - lots of toys made for the ar.

thanks for all the help on this thread.

installed the grip, sure makes a difference in quelling my finger from over travelling the trigger and preventing hand slippage. will oblong grind a fender washer for installation in top of rubber grip to prevent grip from pulling out away from bolt.
