Default Tasco 6x24x42 scope

Anyone use one of these on a Sport? Will it get in there with the front sight on? The scope is 16" long. How are the optics? Is the thing good and clear up to the x24? How would it be for a pdog scope? I was also thinking about the Centerpoint but it's only x16.

Anyway what are your thoughts on the Tasco?

That is the other choice I am choosing between, at 16" it will fit mine is 18" long but I am down sizing to a 6-24x50 and if I find the right one I will order another this evening. I ordered the Bushnell 6-24x50 dusk to dawn but it came today broken in two pieces so I am in the middle of a warranty thing now, but I am looking for one in the mean time. I will always have a rifle I can put one on LOL...go for the Tasco they are good scopes for the money.

Thanks

I put my Swift 4x12x40 on the NcStar QR mount this afternoon. I am having trouble with the scope. I can't get it to focus. I can see well enough to use it at 100 yards but it's not clear. Sighted it in today 1.5 inches high at 100yards like you suggested. I took the scope off and put it on again and it held zero. I think I'll send the Swift back for repair. I don't think it has quite the magnification I am looking for though. Like you I can find a place to use it. LOL

I just checked ebay and they run about 300 bucks!!! That's more than I can afford. I'm sure they are a good scope but just to pricy for me. Thanks though.
