Help me decide what to do next.
Well since I have the bug for messing with guns. I believe I'm ready for another. Trying to stay away from class 3 for now.
So far I have done.
S&W 15 5.56
Cetme .308
Rem 870 mag 12ga
trying to figure out what I want to do next. I'm wanting to do something that is cheap on ammo. So give me an Idea.
Heres what I was kinda thinking.
arselan AK74
SKS
what do you say to do?

1. Stock up on ammo for those three.
2. Begin shooting them.
3. Decide on whether they will work for you.
4. Optimize.
5. Shoot some more.
It works for me.

Well I didnt see a .22 on your list, in any acronym situation a .22lr is on everyones list, plus they are just major fun to shoot and are great for keeping yourself practiced up. You can go from an economical Marlin Model 60 (my personal favorite) their microgroove barrel is unbelievable accurate and consistent for the money. Ruger makes the 10-22, probably the most customizable rifle ever built, I honestly believe there are more parts for a 10-22 than an AR although I also believe you have to buy a better barrel to get the 10-22 as accurate as the Marlin. Then there is the Marlin 39A lever action 22, just an all around fine rifle. I could go on and on, with the variety of Bolt Actions, semi's and levers, there are even pump actions. But a Rimfire should be on every bodies list either a .17hmr (ammo is pricey) a .22lr (cheap and plentiful, or at least used to be) or a .22 magnum (not as pricey as a .17hmr, and just a good solid little powerhouse) Anyway I may be covering something you already have, the 15-22 is a great rifle in its own, But its all in what a person wants. Happy Shooting!!!

I have plenty of .22lr's and lottttts of ammo for them. I might be the only person you hear say this. But shooting .22's is boring to me.
But I was kinda thinking of doing a pistol carbine. maybe an uzi mech ten something along those lines as well.

Good I didnt want to offend you. I usually use 22's as a teaching tool and find the excitement coming from whomever I am teaching to shoot. I honestly havent shot mine in a while unless it is to sight it in. But for a person new to shooting you would think they has just shot the greatest rifle in the world. Plus they learn to shoot without flinching but like you they arent as exciting as they used to be unless I am competing with someone.

if you want to tinker and a pcc I'd say a mech tech with either a 1911 frame or a glock frame. Not a fan of the glock grip angle but they do allow for high cap mags. Or you can go with a Kel-tec sub-2000. Pretty plain jane looking not sure on aftermarket add ons but I'm sure with some tinkering you can get just about anything to work.

Here's a pros & cons list for various rifles that I've referred to several times:

Whats your budget?
I would love:
SCAR
ACR
DTA SRS Sniper Rifle
Also I see you don't have a AK type weapon, that could be a easy/cheap place to go next

wouldnt mind an ACR myself... but dropping $1800 for one seems a bit steep for a civilian version combat rifle

Well I think I narrowed it down to 3 rifles to play with. Now just to make the final decision.
Arsenal AK74
or
KEL TEC SU-16c
GSG-5

Of those 3 easily the Arsenal AK. Not a big fan of Keltec's quality. I've owned a few. I'd stay away from the GSG unless you can find an old 5. The new 522 is very cheap and ammo picky, at least mine was. A S&W M&P15-22 is a much better choice IMO.

What kind of man doesn't have a couple of quality 22s?
Take your pick of one of these and you'll end up happier.
Smith & Wesson 15-22
Ruger Single Six
Smith & Wesson 617
Ruger Mark II or Mark III
Marlin 39A
Marlin or Savage or CZ 22 LR bolt action

I have a few HIGH quality .22lr. I'm just not a big ".22lr" I just want the GSG-5 because I've always wanted a H&K MP5
