Magpul STR and the mutt&p15
Finally got my hands on the Magpul STR. Big upgrade over the stock, uh stock . If you are looking for something with a better cheekweld or a locking stock in general and havent seen this bad boy it warrants serious consideration.
quik stats
Sopmod style sloping (take a nap on it) wide cheekweld married to CTR locking A frame via....
2 storage tubes for batteries or tactical treats
Built in QD cup for sling
$85
A few pics on the muttnP

Nice setup! I've been trying to buy a new Magpul handguard and CTR stock in OD for a month now. Once again out of stock. Magpul really needs to get their manufacturering ramped up.

I like the STR, I bought the ACS which I think is the same length as the STR, but has storage for my Oreo cookies. I just mainly like it for the cheek rest and the extended length. But the Oreo cookie storage is a plus.

I used that code (slickmag) when I ordered my PMags last week. It may or may not work with other MagPul items however, no harm in trying.

I'm new to AR's & this forum and am impressed with the generosity and kindness I have read from it's members. I hate it when someone mentions what they got then don't pass along the info so others can share. That's all I did. Glad to help!
