Default Troy Claymore AR Muzzle Brake Review

I picked up this brake to test for an upcoming SBR (short barrel rifle) build and wanted to test if what I heard about the brake was true. Well, it is. Pros末-greatly reduces the perceived noise level for the shooter and it reduces the blast to those on your side. Cons末-slightly more perceived recoil. There was very little and statistically insignificant difference in bullet performance but the data is posted below.

Chrono Data:

62gr HP Silver Bear 223

Birdcage-2741fps. 1034 ft/lbs of energy
Claymore末2733fps. 1028 ft/lbs of energy

I ran this on my PSX as well and the results were pretty much the same FWIW....
