I was at the Gun show in Chantilly,VA yesturday and saw a couple vendors with PMAGS ranging from $30-$40 for the G2 and G3 Non-window versions....Very happy that I picked mine up last month for less than $12 each!

I saw the same thing yesterday.
I also saw a 32 round mag for the 15-22. I was tempted, but I have 13 of the regular 25 rounders.

Re: How crazy is this....
There's a surplus store I visited last month. Imagine that box full of trashed out GI surplus junk at the same price. They were mostly gone, too.
Sad.

LoL, do they even make dust covers for metal mags.
But on a positive note, they do come with anti tilt followers. I just dont think the follower is worth that much extra money. I'm still buying Pmags locally for $17, so i dont have a problem laughing at the prices. I just cant believe anyone would be that desperate for a metal mag.

I bought a Colt metal 30 rd mag from my local shop. I wanted to try one out.
I had my first two jams in my M&P 15 today - both from that Colt mag.
Pmags for me from now on, thank you.

How crazy is this....
I was at Cabela's, Hoffman Estates, IL today. They had a basket full of some off brand polymer magazine in stock. I'd never heard of the company. They were $30 each. The plastic felt cheap, like it would break easily. The followers didn't look so good either.

How crazy is this....
A coworker just got back from vacation in CO and he couldn't wait to show me a picture of the new Pmags he got. He only paid $45 a piece for them because they had "new and improved springs and gen 4 dust covers!!!" I couldn't even say anything

Did u ask him if they offered to sell him a bottle of lube with those. Just to make the pain a little easier on him.

I tried in the nicest way possible. He was so happy about it though. I asked him which "new and improved springs" he had in there and his response was "I don't know, better than the old ones. But they work great!" I than asked how much better than his old Pmags they were and he swore they were stronger and he could tell because they're harder to load. I just don't have the heart to tell him flat out that he just got ripped off. But on a winning note, he's selling me a few of his old ones for ten bucks a piece since he doesn't want them anymore. I might give him 15 just because I feel bad.
