M&P15 Cleaning rod for chamber?
What cleaning rod do you guys use to clean the chamber with the chamber brush so it can be rotated to get the chamber good and clean? I have the Dewey 1 piece for cleaning out the bore but dont have nothing with a fixed handle to rotate the chamber brush properly. I have my pistol cleaning rod but the threads are different than my chamber brush. Any ideas? Thanks!

.308 chamber brush or a 20Ga. shotgun brush work well.
I have an old cleaning rod with a t-handle that does NOT rotate, that I use.
This guy goes way above and beyond, but it's fun to watch if you're a "gear head" and want to buy a bunch of tools and stuff. I must admit that I had never heard of a " Sinclair Link". It's nifty, but not enough for me to want one.

Handle and one section of GI cleaning rod. Attach GI chamber brush. Extend handle slightly to expose hole in side. Insert another section of rod through it for a crank. Insert brush into chamber and twirl away CW. It will tend to back out. Repeat 3x.
A receiver bore guide is a good thing to keep the full length rod from bending. That's about the only thing you need in addition to the GI cleaning kit.

I like the OTIS cleaning kit for the range bag,but have the bore bruch and handle from Brownells. I usually buy a few of those bore brushes, they can be hard to find at times.
