Default Finally decided on an optic

I finally decided on a Leupold 115387 Mark AR MOD 1 Rifle Scope with 1.5 to 4X Magnification for my M&P 15TS. I haven't taken the other sights off yet.

what is up with your rear sight? Do you slide it back when you remove your scope? How far do you plan shooting with a 1.5x4?

Nice scope. I'm looking forward to a range report.

One question, the mount looks really high. Is that an illusion or is it high on purpose?

agreed.....I would have no chance sighting with that low cheek weld on the MOE stock.

Looks like a Rock River Arms one piece AR scope mount.

When the LGS installed the mount, they just slid the rear sight forward so it won't get misplaced. I am thinking of getting 45 degree mounts for the original sights.

Most of my shooting will be at 100 yards, 200 yards max.

It is a Rock River Arms AR mount. Works for me.

Don't mean to stray but I have a mbus rear sight. Thought it only had one peep hole but think I see the smaller one in front of it, does that fold down forward? hard to separate. I break things easy.
Feels like its going to break while pushing forward. Need like a razor blade to separate the two.
