Second Spot Outing
My second outing with my new Sport. This was off the bench at 50 yards and sandbags.20 rounds in the mag and I think 20 on the paper as a buddy of mine was using a spotting scope and calling the shots as they hit.One inch squares.I can cover the group with my hand so am really pleased with the gun's performance.Put 20 more down range at 12"steel plates at 150 yards and hit 14 of 20.Iron sights and my old eyes.Zero malfunctions. Can't wait to put some optics on it.

What was the distance? And what size are the reference squares...one inch or two?

I think that looks decent enough for iron sights at 50 yards. It looks like a little bit of stringing, but that's difficult to tell with so many shots on one target.
I've counted several times, but I only see 19 hits. Based on the spread, it's unlikely that one slipped through one of the double holes, but possible. However, it's more likely that one round got away from you. Not to worry, that's common for most of us when shooting with iron sights.
It's also possible that you only loaded 19. I've done that before.

Looks like the OP has two groups of three - one at 6 o'clock on the black line and one at 6:30.
Not bad shooting for second time out. I'm willing to bet that with practice he can shrink the group size to around 1.5-2" off the bags at 50 yards, even with cheap ammo.

You hit the nail I think.Had ammo loose in ammo box and knew how much I took with me.Just recounted it and I'm one round over.

I counted 20. There's a three shot group on the black line that is kind of hard to make out. Unless of course that's just my eyes playing tricks on me and it's really only two

I thought of that, but it looks like two to me. Also, look at post #7.
