Default Bolt question

When installing the bolt into the carrier, does it matter which way? It can be spun 180? That would change the side the ejector is on? Right?

**Extractor**, and it does matter. If assembled incorrectly, the extractor would be opposite the ejection port.

Ok thanks. I have had some problems with my gun (not a smith). Was just wondering if i could have put it together wrong. I had a chance to double check since posting.

No the cam pin will not go in wrong. Seems like that should have been an easy answer to find but it wasnt as easy as i thought.

The problems, bolt broke- replaced under warrenty. Then the bolt would lock back early and a couple times the spent case would flip 180 and stay inside reciever. The gun just returned from manufactor a second time. They adjusted the gas. Hope to test it out today. With some new mags.
