Default New M&P 15 Sport
Just got it today and haven't even cleaned it yet. What are the first mods that I need to make?.........Just kidding, I'm not one of those.
Seriously, everything I read or saw researching it was positive which is what led to my purchase. What I do need to do is clean it get a whole bunch more mags and ammo then spend a day at the range getting acquaintedwith it.

I'm going to guess Sport. Great rifle....love mine. Shoot that bad boy, they gobble everything.

You'll hear pretty much nothing but glowing reports here about them - as it should be. They're awesome. I love mine. I probably have 3,000 rounds through mine. I've had one failure-to-fire - and that was one of my first reloads that I ever made. So it was my issue, not the gun's. All other 2,999 rounds have been completely flawless.

It's a great rifle.
