How does the MS4 sling work?
I bought a Magpul MS4 dual QD sling, I watched some videos on youtube but still can't for the life of me figure it out.
I'm going for the 2-point setup, rear QD in the CTR stock and front QD in an adapter on the handrail. All the videos I see say to use the loop in the strap to quickly tighten or loosen the sling to/from your body. But I do this and it just slides straight back out. I tried adjusting the strap and slides off body and now I can't even figure out what goes where.
Thinking of just selling it and buying something else unless I can figure out these straps and slides.

I reckon you've already seen the vids on how easy it is to adjust.
I've got an MS4 and took a couple pics. Is this enough to help you put it back together?
If you got it completely apart.....
This end first
Finish here

I'll take a closer look at those pics tomorrow, it may help so thank you. In the last pic you posted, I can see the loop just going out of shot bottom left, mine doesn't seem to be there like yours is.

MS4 = best of both worlds. Most times, a two point is all you need but there are times that a single point is better. It's nice to have the option and not be dedicated to just one or the other.

I just got one yesterday, and I guess the new ones don't have the loop - only a sliding buckle that doesn't seem as convenient. I wish mine had the loop instead. We'll see how it works out... lot's of people seems psyched on them, so time will tell if it rocks my world or not..

The MS4 Gen 2, does not have the loop. I too could use some pointers on how to adjust it, since I bought one several months ago, and have yet to put it on my rifle.
