It looks like the S&W knows what people are doing with their Sport IIs.

Anybody seen these in the wild? Curious as to how they are priced compared to the baseline Sport II.

The sku shows up at a few online shops but no pricing. MSRP only show $40 difference on the MOE M-lok and the optics ready is $20 less.

That's all I have found too... I'm betting there is more of a delta between real world pricing vs. MSRP since there are more baseline Sports out there.

M&P(R)15 SPORT™ II Optics Ready | Smith & Wesson
Nice. Wish that had been out a few months ago when I bought my Sport II.
I think S&W has been watching the budget DIY AR15 project guns and is making complete guns priced to compete with that market with a lifetime warranty. And as WVSig said, they also are watching how people modify their Sport II's. I'll bet at some point they have a model with Magpul FDE furniture on it.

Maybe I should make a WTB ad for Sport II take off railed gas blocks.
