NIB S&W M&P Sport 15 Value ?
With an expected upcoming move we are considering selling a S&W M&P Sport 15, Gen 1, 5.56mm. It has the later 1:9 barrel. We are the original owners, it is unfired, NIB and comes with the Pmag 30 rd mag and manual. What would be a fair asking price in today's world ? Thanks.

With the prices being high due to the conditions in the market, you might be able to get the money you paid for it even though it is technically considered a used firearm, NIB or not. I wouldn't try to push any higher than that unless someone voluntarily offers more.

Remember the gun is only new to you. For everyone else it is a used gun.
As for selling price it depends on your market. Gunbroker will give you the biggest market. However the gun must be sent to a FFL dealer and shipping is very expensive. Consignment sale with a lgs may put as much money in your pocket.
Many AR owners build their own guns which drives down the price of factory guns. I would visit the local gun stores to help determine how much and how to sell it.
Including ammunition with the gun will be a BIG plus. Don’t sell the ammunition you have separately.

You should be able to get $800 pretty easily. At least around here.

All depends on location, my LGS currently has Sport 2s at $1299 with a 10 round pinned mag to make them legal in NY.

GRAB A GUN is selling them for $949 up from $899 a month ago.
I remember when they were $479-$569 2016-2019, then up to $600 in 2019-2020.

The OP hasn't been back to his thread since posting 19 days ago but the price has probably gone up since then.
NIB Sport 2s are online for $899. This is a Sport 1 but in the current seller's market I would guess $700 easy and probably $800 without too much resistance. Current reality is crazy.

Hey Geoff, you have been driving me crazy about how you end a comment. Why do you sign your name, then make or ask another reply afterwards? I think it's your own style, which is all you. I was just curious.

G4G Guns in Texas has them for $637.99. That includes a 30 rd. mag. If I could make use of it, one would be on the way.
