I looked at those too. very nice. (the magpul sling) I think I can get a blackhawk with the attachment ring for around half the cost of the magpul. I am gonna take a look at one first before I make my decision.
You gonna put a sight on your rifle? If so, what kind?
Once you start looking around at all the stuff you can do to these rifles its mind boggling, but FUN!

I really want an Eotech but that will have to wait for a while. I plan on ordering the MS2 sling when it comes in stock. I just ordered some food for it and a couple extra mags last night.

I bought two of these,
Mags
and I ordered 1000 rounds of Wolf FMJ and 500 rounds of Georgia Arms "Canned Heat". I will break the rifle in with the brass and then use the steel .

Good looking mags. Let me know how they work for you. With the ammo your getting you be in good shape to break your M&P right!
Let me know, after you fire it, how you like it.

Will do, but the pain in the arse is that I have to wait for GA to ship my ammo (last batch was three weeks out) before I can break it in. And the Wolf will be here on the 7th.
So in the meantime all I can do is hunt carpet ninjas.

Thanks for the reply. That sounds like a great idea, could you list for me the items that I will need to do this and your recommendation for places to buy them?
Thanks.

Nice EBR! I have the EoTech on my M&P along with the Thunder Ranch light kit. The EoTech is really fast for the close in stuff and I can still ring the 300 yard steel with no problem. I have less than a thousand rounds thru it but so far it runs and shoots without a hitch. I do beleave you are gonna like your new rifle!

My 15X came from Greentops.
Thanks again, I found it online at MidwayUsa for what appears to be a decent price.

Thanks, I have put 347 rounds down the tube so far and the scope makes it too easy. I will be replacing that with an Aimpoint ML2 or ML3 in the future, I had considered a T1 also. I might even try a Vortex Strike Fire until I can afford the Aimpoint.
The scope is a Kowa 3x9.
This is sighting in the scope at 50yds (46 rounds). I was resting the rifle on my range bag.

Very nice! Went to a farmers rifle range that he set up. He has targets out to 500yds. They start at 25yds and progress up to 500yds.
After 100yds he has these steel sculpture-type targets set up at 100yds, 250yds, and 500yds. they kinda look like bison in shape, but you can hear it when you hit them.
A Buddy and I went there to get my EoTech sited in. Once that was done we were hitting the steel targets with ease. I was amazed at how accurate, at 500yds, using the EoTech sight was! We had a good time.
PS..I also in the last couple days picked up a couple items for the AR. Bought a Magpul trigger guard and installed that (looks great and will be nice when I have the break out the gloves) and picked up a Tapco mag which performed well.

Nice! I bought the same weapon and it is a sweet shooter. My Vortex Strikefire will be here monday. I added a VFG and two point Gear Sector sling. What pistol grip is that?

Thanks, that is an "Ergo" grip and I really like it. I also have the Magpul MOE but prefer the Ergo more.
