Savage nfa 1836 percussion.36 cal first attempt at double action.
Union navy revolver.
Colt 1878 revolver, first successful double action revolver. .45. Colt.

I think there was a Colt Model 1877 double action revolver that preceded the 1878. I don't know if it was successful as parts were fragile. They were made from January 1877 until 1909 for a total of 166,849 revolvers.

This colt made 1902 u.s. marked. I talked to Cody Wyoming museum. Early one valuable, others no. He wasn’t interested.
