M&P AR15 Sport II Charging Handle Inquiry
Newbie to AR15's here and have a quick question.
I'm picking up a M&P AR15 Sport II from California jail next week.
I've seen various articles regarding the replacement of the charging handles.
This may seem silly but, what is so special for some of these replacement handles costing upward of ~$100
What makes them better than the OEM handles?
Please enlighten me - hardhat on

Some CH are made ambidextrous, with wider extensions on both sides, and may be shaped to funnel gas if a suppressor is used. Various colors are also available. I sort of understand somebody may justify a $100.00+ CH; but a $50.00+ EPC? No way.
