When I bought my "Allied Forces" Sigma 9VE a few years ago, it was 2 more Hi-Caps or $50. At the sale price of $299, I took the magazines.

If you know how many weapons you have, you don't have enough......

I have 2 9VE's and may get a 40VE. I just wish they would come out with a 45VE. They are truly good weapons. My wife and I both carry 9VE's. S&W is enjoying the rewards for producing a quality American made weapon at a very reasonable price. I remember when I got my first, nothing ever posted about the lowly Sigma. Then came the bashing, even from some S&W gun snobs. More so from the Glock guys. Now it's S&W's big seller and it seems everybody and their brother has one. (or two) Thanks to S&W for making a dependable DAO pistol that's safe to carry. It is truly the "Made in America" Glock. I didn't say that first, glock sued and won a copyright infringement suit and a undisclosed dollar amount was paid to Glock. The trigger was modified to include the "pigtail" spring as part of the settlement. It ain't no 1911 but it was never meant to be a tack driver. Fast as I can pull the trigger I can put 17 center mass on paper. That's what a self defense weapon is supposed to do. Man, I wish they made a 45!

Yeah-- that's great, My little 9VE only puts 'em back to Tuesday evening . . . maybe that's reason enough to buy a new 40.

I love my 40GVE - I fired & dry fired it until the trigger is damn near perfect. I'm probably going to get another. All that fire power in such a small, light package....

BUT - do I get another .40, or a 9mm this time? I have about 1300 rounds of 9mm brass, but more than 4,000 of .40. But I have three .40's and only one 9mm.

Sorry zzr600187, I think the Ebay extensions are made for GLOCKs only- that shot the .40 round that was developed by smith & wesson.
Not for a smitty built handgun. I think the Glocks have plastic mags.
Same for the Sig-Sauuer. They are talking about the type of round not the gun.

Just dont think I would trust my smith & wesson 40ve with any parts made to fit a glock, IMO.

WVfishguy. I already had a 9ve and purchased the 40ve right before Christmas. My logic (for what it is worth) is that I can practice using cheap 9mm ammo and use the .40 for serious business. If you already have the .40 a 9mm would allow you to use the $7.99/box Academy ammo. Also in a SHTF situation most NATO forces use 9mm.

I just bought me a 40ve on the 1st of jan and I'm loving it....Thinking about buying another 40ve in a couple of weeks. The trigger is better than a friend of mine who bought a 40ve about 2years ago.

Bought my 9ve on the 3rd and mailed in the rebate on the 4th.

Can't wait to get to the range. I can tell you that there is no grit at all in the trigger. None!

I bought my SW40VE on Jan 2. I would have got it on the 1st but they couldn't do the NICS checks that day Since mama bought it I opted for the free mags instead of the $50. Of course, now that I've got this one I think I need a SW9VE to go with it
