lifetime warranty? from page 27 of the manual that came with my Sigma ....

"Smith & Wessons firearms are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any such defects of which Smith & Wesson receives written notice within one year from the date of purchase by the original owner , will be remedied by Smith & Wesson without charge within a reasonable time after such notification and delivery of the firearm is provided below." (Delivery instructions are listed after this paragraph)

Prime Winner...this point might be worth a new thread? I was told by Gander Mt when I purchased my Sigma that it has a S&W lifetime warranty as well as a one year warranty and a free cleaning by Gander MT.

So then the lifetime warranty only, applies to the original purchaser when new? if so, I hope I can find a new striker if mine ever breaks. From what I saw for parts list order, the striker assemblies have to be installed by smith & Wesson.
