Default Is the SW9F a good pistol?

Looking for a glove box gun, it's a used piece at $299 and seems to have a better trigger than my SD40VE did. Also has a (1) night sight.

If you rummage around the forums you'll find lots of comments on the SWxxF guns.
I have two SW40F guns I bought when they were being universally reviled. I don't like the sights or trigger, but they have otherwise been fine guns. I stuck them in the safe until I got the Apex trigger upgrade for them, and that makes all the difference. If your SW9F trigger bothers you, you might try that.
For the price I think they are fine. And actually better than many more expensive ones.

In metro Atlanta S&W Shields are $330.00 brand new. Smaller, lighter, more concealable, and brand new.

The 9F is a dependable weapon. You have to do your part with it. Tennessee Highway Patrol used them for a long time.

As a "Glove Box" gun, you could do worse. You can also do better on the price.

I would make a lesser offer and go from there.
