thanks argon. I noticed that on midway, but didnt list it because I honestly had no clue as to its use.
spricks, I added the universal laser with a ***. the ***'s will be used to indicate that while an item is not designed for Sigma's, they are known to work with Sigma's. how's that sound?

thanks again
EDIT: Midway.com says they are due back in stock 4/3/2010

I have a S&W SW40V. I have searched high and low for a holster. Would prefer either a Blackhawk or a Fobus. Any ideas? Does the sw40v fit in a sigma holster? Thanks

Reduced Power Recoil Spring
I was scrolling through the list of Sigma parts and came across the Wolff Guide Rods and Recoil Springs. I was just curious what the purpose of the reduced power recoil springs were for. To me it sounds like you may end having a FTF problem once the spring is broken in. What's the purpose for the aftermarket rods & springs and if there's anybody whose purchased one of these, have you had any problems with them?

Hi,
I'm new here, does anyone know of a holster that will work with the ADPSIGM140 rail adapter? I bought the Fobus HK1BH from Academy today but unfortunately my SW40VE will not fit with the ADPSIGM140 rail adapter attached.
Thanks!

Didn't see this in the list, but the Bianchi Model 82 CarryLok holster (made for the Glock 19) works well with my SW40VE. (Snug, but after a little break in is working quite well for me.)

holster for sd9ve
I found this at Gander Mountain. $35.00 Listed for the MP but fit my sd9ve. A simple twist of the pistol and it releases from the holster.

The Galco King-Tuk holster for the M&P works for the Sigma. That is the holster I used for my conceal carry.

Question about guide rod recoil spring
A double edged question please.
1- What is the weight of the factory spring on the SD9-VE?
2- Will a higher weight spring reduce felt recoil or would a lower spring do that?
This is my first centre-fire semi.
My other semis are .22LR and my other Centerfires are 9mm S&W 929 and Ruger Blackhawk

I got an extended slide release and an engraved slide end cap for my SD40VEfrom NDZ Performance. The slide release is great. Custom Firearm Accessories & Aftermarket Parts | NDZ Performance and they sell on E-Bay.
I have two leather holsters for my .40 from Versacarry. The first one I got is a reversible left on right hand ISW or OSW carry that is really only good for OWB. The other is a lefty IWB holster that work OK, quick to draw from, but hard to reholster.
One of the ones I like the best is a We the People IWB kydex holster. Using the shoe pad trick it's very comfortable, but I'm not wild about the plastic clip. I does stay tight in the waistband.
The one I like the most is the kydex light tuck IWB holster from Vedder. The shoe pad made it very comfortable and I like the click that tells me the pistol is fully in the holster. I did have a hard time drawing the pistol with it in the highest position, so to move it up a little I could only use one one of the two holes to mount the metal clip to the holster. It works fine now. I have to see if I can drill another hole so I can use two screws again.
