Another 270 rounds!!:D

100 practice rounds on Friday & 170 rounds at the USPSA competition this morning with zero malfunctions!!

Despite my interaction, the gun performed flawlessly!

In my 2nd competition I finished about the middle of the pack!
Overall I'm pleased, but still looking to get better!!

There was another custom 1911 style gun that went down in flames today!
Everytime it fired it would eject a live round with the empty case or try to double feed. I think it was a problem with the mag.

But my bottom feeder, cheap, no resale value Sigma made it through all 6 sandy stages.
I could feel the grit in the mags when reloading them.
I tried to clean them the best I could & even retired one that was just to sandy.
But the Sigma didn't complain once!!
Man I love this gun!!

You know I am planning on buying a M&P 9pro with a 5" barrel because its design is geared more toward competition.
But you can bet money that the Sigma will make every trip with me as a back up!!
If you add the cost of both together, it still will not equal the cost of most of the "race guns"!!

There was a guy talking about the great buy he got on his custon gun. He found a deal at $950.
I asked what kind of warranty they had & he replied, "I don't know. I got this friend who works on guns, if it breaks he can fix it."
I guess I don't have enough money to look at it that way.
S&W's reputation & past experience with other manufactures has made it hard to spend money else where!!

Ok, that is enough!
I'm starting to sound like an "Infomercial"!!

Too bad that even the people here on the S&W forum in other areas look down on the Sigma. Somebody asked for a home defense gun that was cheap in the Lounge area yesterday and I got knocked for suggesting the Sigma to him. Seemed to be exactly what he wanted; they were pushing the M&P for him or even other brands...
