I don't know for what purpose some of you bought your Sigma, but I'm guessing that if I ever REALLY NEED to fire mine accurately, it will be at night! I enjoy shooting mine, but I do not consider it a "target" pistol.

Question: Are you a cop? Just wondering because I really don't see the validity of you "needing" accuracy at night, unless you were preparing for a night time shoot out. Just asking. I am interested.
I figure it this way. If I have to fire my weapon at night, it will either be in my home, in which case it will be a maximum of 15 ft. Or it will be in a parking lot, where someone is trying to rob me. I doubt I will be firing at a sniper or shooting very far in any case. I am no longer a cop so I will only be firing in self defense at very short distances. At night, I have no intention of shooting accurate. I will be pointing and shooting and hoping that I am not jerking my rounds off in every direction. That's why I practice. But I am pretty sure that just about anyone can hit a target that's within 15ft. Don't get me wrong, I am not criticizing. Just curious.
Hey, everybody to their own preference. I am currently waiting for my Hi-Viz sight to arrive. But, mine is mostly for plinking. DAYTIME plinking. I carry a pocket pistol for self defense and it sits in the night stand for night intruders.
For sieges on my home, I have misc. weapons consisting of a scoped (illuminated) carbine, shotgun, rifle and if all else fails, my trusty plinking weapon of choice, the Sigma.
Sorry, I don't do the night firing thing anymore. Not since I was on the swat team, many years ago.
But, if you need something real fast, you could always slap a laser sight on it. I understand that they work well at night.
