Sigma 17 round Magazine
When I purchased my Sigma 9 VE two years ago I got the $50 rebate and two free magazines. I ordered 10 round versions because I planned on taking it into California and wanted to be legal over there. I wanted to pick up a couple more mags for it in hi-cap but at $40 each I figured I could wait a while. I was at the Fall gun show a couple months back and one of the vendors had a pair of magazines in a glass case which appeared to be Sigma's, however, when he handed one to me to examine it had a thicker base plate and indicated 17 rounds , not 16. He was sure they were for the Sigma and only wanted $30 for the pair. Turns out he didn't take plastic so I went downstairs to use the ATM and brought back cash and he knocked off $5. They are Sigma Mags and work perfectly and the price was definately right. I was wondering if they still make these or have they been discontinued because I can't find any mention of them anywhere?

Those magazines must have been for the original Sigma's from the 90's.

I believe that 17 round mag is for the original Sigma F version, but will fit the 9VE.

Great find!! Great price!!! Those are the only hicaps (preban) that we can have for the Sigma in this state. My dealer has a hundred or more of them in his shop but he wants $50 EACH for them!!

It sounds like I got a much better deal than I thought. I have extra Magazines for all of my pistols and just never bought any for the Sigma because of the price. I got the 10 rounders for going to California for work 3 days a week and I had to install two lock boxes in the back of my van because you have to keep the gun and ammo locked seperately. Boy am I glad I live in Nevada.

The 17rd mags are prebans, the 16s and 10s are post ban. I have a couple of the 17s and am always looking for more as funds allow.

It's only a matter of time before Harry Reid ruins Nevada. I use to live in Carson City, loved it there. Nevada just dropped Florida from their reciprocity list.

I grew up in Carson City and miss the small town feel of it. Sorry to hear they dropped FL from the list. On a happier note, they are changing the rules this session so that you only have to qualify on one Semi-Auto pistol as well a only one revolver for your CCW.
