On rare occassions I carry my Sigma concealed. I have a tactical holster I bought at a gun show. I can change the belt clip and make it an inside waist holster but its frankly too big and bulky and I would have to wear pants 3inches bigger....

I have been looking for some kind of holster to carry right hip, and concealed under a floppy shirt. It can either be a belt style or "paddle style that fits over the belt and under trousers.

Lots of holster are marked with the models but the closet I have seen to the Sigma is the S&W M&P 9m or .40.

Any one have an idea if the M&P will fit a Sigma? Before I spend 60-80 bucks on a holster I'd like some opinions.

Most of the time when I carry it concealed, I put it in the pocket of some 5.11 tactical pants I bought at the local cop shop. It's not ideal but works.

I bought this Tagua holster... (</title> <link href="css/tagua_style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="facebox/facebox.css" media="screen" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.3.2.min.js"></script> <script type="text)
at a local gun show for $23. It was listed for a "Glock 19 and similar guns". It fits the Sigma pretty well, about the same as my G19. Which is to say that on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best possible fit, it is an 8. Surprisingly, the gun that best fits it, a 10, is my Sig P220, which was not listed on the package.
Overall, I like it. If I had another Sigma, I would buy this holster again.

Edit;
The leather is on the thin side, as you'd expect for $23, but so far, it has held up well. I've had it just over a year now and have used it for both concealed carry and also at mt CPL "practice" class.

Glock & Sigma slides are interchangeable, so the correct barrel length Glock holster should fit. I've bought a few holsters marked for an H&K USP Compact that fit exactly. The only difference in a Glock holster should be the trigger guard, I believe.

I use a Don Hume, JT slide.....it keeps the gun nice a close to your torso...ive never had a second look from anyone....

The trigger guard fit is the problem. If the holster is a loose enough fit, or a leather one that can be stretched, then the Sigma will work in some holsters designed for other pistols.
However, if you buy a kydex holster, you will find that the holster for Sigma are different from the M&P holster in the trigger guard area, where the gun locks in. So a Glock or M&P holster will never work quite right.

Why not just order the correct holster that fits it exactly, instead of trying to find something that "sorta works?" It's going to cost the same either way. Don't expect find find high quality custom fit holster at the average LGS; there are just too many different ones for stocking.
This is my favorite for my Sigmas:
Paddle Holster :: OWB Belt Holsters :: Blade-Tech Industries

The FOBUS HK1 paddle holster is a low-cost alternative for a Sigma:

This is the one I use for my SD9, should work for your Sigma.

great suggestions. blde tec was the first site I saw that had the Sigma 9ve listed. I did not know the glock and sigma slide were interchangeable and strange about three people said the same thing today when I was looking. I appreciate all the help....I sincerely thank each of you who took the time to answer.

Bladetech

I ordered a blade tech "nano" for my sigma. It had to be custom made but they didn't charge me extra, you just have to wait longer. They kinda dropped the ball in my case as the advertised 3 week turn around ended up being closer to 8 weeks but it is a very nice holster, the nano is their newest slimmest iwb and works great.

Sigma Holster

F.Y.I. guys, Glock and Sigma slides USED to be interchangable when the Sigma was first produced, but no longer. As to a holster, I use the blackhawk serpa CQC and it fits my M&P, my SD and I have a good friend with a Sigma 40 and it fits that too (No Tom, you can't have my holster).
