I recently bought a used Sigma .40ve on gunbroker.com and finally got it out to the range. I fired the first 50 rounds with absolutely no issues. I took the sear assembly out and pulled the so called "unnecessary springs" I've heard so much about to see if there was any difference in trigger pull. After reassembly of the gun I had a FTE on the second round fired, and the trigger pull felt the same, so I put everything back together the way it was meant to be and put another 100 problem free rounds through it. Needless to say, the accuracy of this gun isnt the greatest but I had all shots on target with a few stackers at 7 yards. This is my first Sigma, and despite all the bad things I've heard about it the gun shoots smooth and feels good, for the price I dont think there is any other .40 caliber pistol that matches it. I originally bought it a carry weapon but its just too bulky, Im going to get a .380 for that. So after getting aquainted I will now put her away as my bedside piece.
