Default S&W SD40 VE round chambering issues

I randomly just started having problems with my gun cambering rounds jamming on and off every other round. I have had the gun since about July and only fired about 200 rounds. I noticed this problem after my last trip to the range where I used standard range ammo and it worked fine. The ammo I have for home defense is federal hollow tips. I have had the ammo since I bought the gun and every so often when I haven't been to the range, I cycle the rounds thru the gun and reload them back back in the mag just to make sure the gun is still functional. I have recently pulled the gun apart and cleaned and oiled down everything (even wiped down the ammo) and immediately It appeared to have resolved the issue but after sitting a week later, the problem returned. Anyone else know of this problem or know of a solution?
