Default what lubes and solvents should i use

I just recently purchased my first handgun which is the sw9ve i read some of the negative reviews but just loved the way it sat in my hand like it was made just for me. anyway i am use to cleaning my shotguns and rifles never a polymer handgun with stainless slide so any suggestions on which lubes and solvents i should be using to clean and maintain it.

Whatever you have been using, assuming they are products designed and sold for use on guns, will do fine.

I'm not too big on "special purpose" stuff. Chemicals either work for a certain use or they don't - they don't care if its on a gun or something else.

With that in mind, for lubes, I use mostly 3-in-1 Oil out of the tool area. For choke tubes and recently on slide rails I've starting using a few dabs of Wal-mart brand Super-Tech lithium grease. None of my guns have ever complained that they weren't getting Hoppes or Rem-Oil .

For solvents I actually use Hoppe's No 9, but I'll likely be making a big batch of Ed's Red soon and using that.

I have been using M-Pro 7 Gun cleaner and M-Pro 7 LPX gun oil. On the rails I also been using TW25B light grease from Mil-Comm it only takes just a little....

I use Break Free CLP for lubrication and light cleaning...Hoppe's #9 solvent after a couple hundred rounds for carbon fouling...and Barnes CR-10 for copper fouling, but that probably won't be till i fire 500 rounds or so through it...may wait till 1000.
