Does anyone know of any other mags that will interchange with my sd40ve? Reason being is that the mags are really costly for this weapon. Basically I want to know if any other type of .40 cal mags will fit into my weapons?? Any information will be great, Thanks

I do not know of any other magazine that will work. The reputable after market/OEM mag makers do not seem to offer an aftermarket mag to fit the SD40VE.

Any of the .40 Sigma mags will work. The SW40F may require a slight trimming of the base plate.

You have to over look Shawn M. he doesn't approve of anything other than the way it comes in the box.

If you look very closely at this photo of my SD9VE you will notice it is using a magazine from the SW9VE I used to own. The magazines are completely interchangeable.

If you will shop around, you can find sw40ve mags used on Gunsamerica or Gunbroker and even Ebay(10 rnds on Ebay) very reasonable. I recently bought a couple of 14 rounders for $13+change.
