Sd9ve locked forward slide
While doing an Apex trigger upgrade on an sd9ve somehow the pin that holds the trigger in place to the frame came loose with the slide on. Was in the middle of filing the rear of the trigger to allow enough clearance to engage the striker. The groove on the pin caught the spring and I could only fully remove the pin. At this point the slide is locked forward. I contacted Smith and Wesson and they said to remove the sear spring assembly pin and remove everything from the frame. I removed the pin but I can't get the frame off. Anyone have suggestions on how to remedy this without purchasing a new frame.

I never owned an SD and can’t visualize what’s locking it up, but this may help.
A friend and fellow rang officer brought in a striker fired gun (Kel Tec?) with the slide locked forward. He figured it would have to go back to the factory, but he had me look at it anyway.
I tried a number of things to free it up with no luck. I finally took a pair of pliers, got hold of the front of the guide rod and pulled it our the front of the frame as far as it would, compressing the recoil spring and taking tension off the barrel. At that point, the slide/barrel assembly came right off.
No idea if it will help in your case, but it’s worth a try.

Try removing the backplate from the slide and pull out the striker mechanism.

I was attempting to do the back plate before s&w told me to take the sear pin out. It's fully locked up. They say I should be able to pull everything out the frame at this point but it's not happening.

Update. Somehow I released the slide enough for the slide to move backward enough that I removed the back plate. Then just released the trigger bar and it came right open for me.

Final up date the slide catch spring was the culprit. Somehow it bent upward causing the locking. Bent it back to original shape. The trigger spring also bent so I have to use the factory one. I will be contacting Apex to attempt to get another.

Sometimes you hear that old phrase ringing in the back of your head, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
But, unfortunately, I tend to ignore it as well. My SD9 is somewhat modified. I went with the Galloway Boudica trigger. IMO, it's much better than the APEX.
